When we say we’re located in the heart of Munich, we mean that rather literal. Here are our highlights for all the things we love about the Münchner Freiheit and Schwabing.

As people from Munich like to say: “Schwabing is not a location, it’s an attitude”. Vibrant, tasty, green. That’s what it means to us. And we can’t help but to feel a little at home here. And since our move into the Münchner Freiheit 2, five short years ago, we’ve become quite the connoisseurs of what to do around the area.

In honor of turning 5 years old, we came up with the Top 5 things we love about Schwabing. Check out our list below:

1. THE MÜNCHNER FREIHEIT

If you have troubles locating our office, spotting the iconic green roof at the Münchner Freiheit is usually a good start. But it’s more than a landmark, the Ubahn station is more than what we pass through to get to work. Whether it’s the pharmacy, DM, or Galeria Kaufhof Karstadt, chances are you’ll bump into one of our DOTS breaking at the Münchner Freiheit – simply because it is our home.

2. MEXICO, INDIA, THAILAND, ITALY

Like our agency, our lunch places are as international as we are. From Condesa (hands down the best Mexican place in Munich), our staple Thai take-out food Mun-Mun, a warm Indian curry from Dhaba on cold winter days, or a Dean & David salad for those who are getting ready for summer — deciding for lunch can be tough!

3. LEOPOLDSTRASSE

People probably would call working in between the English Garden and one of the most famous streets in Munich as luxurious. To us, it’s simply EIGHTYDOTS. Need a last-minute gift for that birthday you forgot? A new evening read? Pimp your wardrobe? Leopoldstrasse has got you covered. Oh and if you’re too lazy to step outside, our internal elevator has a direct connection to our in-house Carhartt store, so don’t worry if you’ve stained your shirt before the client meeting.

4. THE ENGLISH GARDEN

Undoubtedly the most famous of Munich’s parks, we enjoy being within walking distance of this green spot. Whether it’s for an evening beer at the Seehaus, a casual stroll through the park at lunch to clear one’s head, or an after-work picnic, the English Garden is there to have a good time. Don’t forget your sunglasses.

5. SKYDOT

If you’ve visited us through our work or have been at one of our events you’re most likely to have been up at our rooftop terrace. SKYDOT is where all great things come together: a giant coworking space, amazing coffee, a green terrace and most of all – enough space to let creativity flow.
